Its ears are much smaller, but it tail is much larger. The latter is brown above and white below. When startled or funning the tail si raised and spread, and resembles a white flag bobbing spasmodically from side to side. White tail deer are found on the Harney and Blackhills Forests and in north eastern Wyoming of this Region. |
