Making the News
For those of you who believe TV stations won't take your tape, check this out. Since 1984 Forest Service, NASA, the military, and other government agencies have been shooting videotape and providing it to commercial news stations as hard news and feature news on a host of subjects. This tape, produced by Frank Carroll, written and directed by Brian Harris and Lynette Davis Berriochoa, documents the process of shooting news and providing high quality news stories, A- and B-roll, to TV stations from El Paso, TX, to Boise, ID, and Denver, CO, PHX, AZ, and many points in between. This is earned media at its best.
