Volunteers removed trash and appliances that had been dumped along Beretta Road and in the forest. The Off Road Riders, Black Hills Jeeps, Dakota Cruisers, Ellsworth AFB, Tau Beta Phi (SDSM&T), S.D. Gun Owners, Rapid City Rifle Club, and many others pitched in to clean the area. A group of work release volunteers, provided by the Pennington County Sheriff, also worked on the project.
