My Album

Your Album allows you to save the items you want to work with. If you add items when you are logged in, then your Album will be saved so that items will remain in your Album until next time you visit.

A summary of your Album is displayed on every page in the "My Album" panel under the left-hand menu.

The "My Album" page lists all the items you have added to your Album. For each item in the list, you can click on thumbnail or "View details" link to view its full details.

Adding and removing items

You can add items to your Album from the "Search results", "Browse", or "Item details" pages.

Click the link "Remove" next to an item to remove it from your Album. If you want to remove all of the items from your Album, click the link "Remove all items" shown near the top of the page.

Item grouping

The items in your Album are grouped according to the permissions that you have for those items:

• Ready to download: items that you have permission to download are shown at the top of your Album. This includes items that you always have permission to download, and items for which you have requested and been granted permission. Click the "Download all" button to download all of these items. You will be taken to the "Download Album" page.
• Approval required: these items must be approved by an admin user before you can download them. Click on the button "Request approval" to request approval from an admin user to download these items.
• Pending approval: items for which you have requested approval, but approval has not yet been granted.
• Approval rejected: items for which you have requested approval to download but your request has not been approved. If the admin user has entered a comment against an item, for example to explain why approval was not granted, you can view the note by clicking "View notes".
• View only: these items cannot be downloaded.

Request Download Approval

For some items, you may need to request approval before you can download them. Add the items to your Album and then click the "Request approval" button on the "My Album" page.

When you click this button, you will see the "Request approval" page. You can enter notes against each item, if required, and then click "Submit" to submit the request to an admin user.

When your download requests have been approved (or declined) by an admin user you will be notified by email. After logging in to Asset Bank, you can see which items have been approved by going to the "My Album" page. If the admin user entered comments against an item you can view the notes by clicking the link "View notes".
